Based on their top registrars list, Domain.com is the #1 registrar today.
Domain.com is a popular domain registrar that offers and extensive range of tlds ( top level domains) and inexpensive hosting options along with useful tools for small businesses and blogs such as ssl certificates, web design, online marketing services and VPS hosting. Personally I have around 400 domains with them currently. This is how much I trust Domain.com The company has been around since 2000 and continues to be the go-to option for new website owners and experienced Internet entrepreneurs alike.MakeAWebsiteHub.com
With a name like Domain.com, the EIG-owned brand, means business, focusing primarily on small and medium businesses. It offers most popular top level domains and over 25 country code top level domains and also sells premium domains as a broker. With nearly two decades of online presence, the company – which is one of the world’s biggest domain name registrars – expanded in web hosting and now ranges a number of products including a website builder, a full design service and web hosting. Domain.com prices tend to be average but we have managed to blag a 25% discount off almost everything in your cart*. Non-premium TLD (.Club, .Men, .Win etc) start from $2.99 for the first year ($2.24 with our code). In line with the rest of the industry, they rise significantly after the second year). You need to pay for privacy protection, a reasonable $6.99, plus you can add email, web hosting, SSL certificates and malware protection, none of which is compulsory. You can stick with its basic website builder which is free with every domain: you get a drag and drop website builder, tons of mobile-friendly templates, up to six pages, SEO tools, Paypal integration and even access to stock image library. Support is more than adequate with 24/7 chat, email and phone support. Domain.com may not have the cheapest prices but it provides with a very balanced offering.TechRadar.com

They allow you to register all top level domain name extensions (TLDs) and even dozens of country code top level domains (ccTLDs). Domain.com has a quick domain search tool that you can use for your domain name research. Their search also shows you premium domains as well. You get access to all domain management tools that you would expect from a top domain registrar including private registration, whois privacy protection, free whois, bulk registration, easy transfers, easy DNS management, email account, and other additional services. You can even purchase web hosting from them if you like. If you have any questions, then you can contact their helpful support via live chat or email.WPBeginner.com

Whether you’re a first-time or experienced buyer, Domain.com is the most logical place to start your domain name registration process. It’s my top overall pick due to the simplicity and quality of the service. You can get a .com domain from Domain.com for just $9.99 per year. During the checkout process, you have the option to purchase your domain for up to five years, which is one of my favorite features offered by this provider. I can set it and forget it.QuickSprout.com
Domain.com offers a variety of service, but their primary focus is on selling domains. Ease of use The Domain.com checkout process is relatively simple but does feature an obnoxious number of upsells. They also have the base time for a domain purchase set at two years, so you’ll need to adjust it manually if you only want to purchase a domain name for only one year. Additional services Domain.com offers web hosting services, including their own custom Website Builder. However, these services are not recommended. If you go through Domain.com for your domain, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere for hosting. Customer support According to the reviews, Domain.com customer service is slow to respond when they do respond at all. These reviews are based on the hosting products, but provide good insight into how customer support will work with you if you buy a domain from this source.ThemeIsle.com
Domain.com is a popular domain registrar that has been around since 2000. Domain registration rates start at $2.99, with the most-common .com sold for $9.99. WHOIS protection does cost extra, at $8.99 annually. In addition to domain registration, Domain.com also offers a host of other services, including website hosting, business emails to match your domain, and added security features, like SSL certificates and SiteLock to prevent malware and spam.Blog.HubSpot.com
Domain.com is one of the most popular registrars today, but this is because of those positive reviews and feedback from its affiliates. If I look at it objectively, it doesn’t belong to the top 10 registrars.
Some affiliates tend to rate Domain.com higher than what is supposed to because it pays high commission compared to other registrars. I was tempted to do it as well, but I just can’t.
The renewal price of its .com domain costs $13.99 which is a bit higher than its competitors. In addition, it will cost an additional $8.99 per year to have a privacy protection, which is free from other registrars like NameSilo, Namecheap, Google Domains, Hover, 1and1 etc. There are also way too many complaints against their support team for being not knowledgeable enough or not helpful at all. Their features are OK, but there’s nothing special about them.
For those who are planning to buy a domain with Domain.com, I recommend to do more research and read user reviews online before proceeding. It will give you a better idea how good or bad it is.
Do not immediately buy after reading one or two perfect ratings, all service providers have their own flaws. Keep searching and reading reviews online until you can confidently decide for yourself if you will buy it or not.
